No words could ever be more true... In so many different meanings. I mean, it can rain, hail, and then clear and you will see a rainbow. So that would be a storm. But a storm could also be where life has become twisted. Doesn't make sense. God keeps throwing blows. You drop to your knees screaming "WHY"... that is a LIFE storm... I have been close to someone who has lived a "life storm" for awhile now... But I have never met someone so grateful, selfless, and sweet after all the trials and tribulations that have come her way. She has been in love, been heart broken, been excited, and then let down.. And this wasn't just a one time thing.. this has happened quite a few times for her. Yet she continues to push through with a smile on her face. Constantly helping others and being there for her friends and family. So you ask, where is her rainbow in all of the craziness that has hit her life? Well she has settled down with her true Prince Charming. She has been excited to bring new life into this world, but then had that taken away. Then, just a few weeks back, she contacts me.. wanting to schedule a shoot. I immediately thought just a couples with their puppies shoot... since that has been what we have been planning for some time. She then says its for a MATERNITY SHOOT!!!! EEEKKKKKk!!! She had waited long enough to let the truth be known!! She was finally into the second trimester, almost HALFWAY done with her pregnancy... I couldn't be more excited for her!! Well since we are basically family, we were invited to her gender reveal party. Her sister-in-law and brother hosted, decorated, and planned out the entire day... Okay maybe he just hosted... Vicky truly did all the work! Along with her sister Ivanna, the day was set. The house was filled with food, treats, goodies, and decorations of pink and blue. Friends and family sat around, laughed, talked, shared stories, and watched all the other kids play around the house. Posole was served. Along with hotdogs, hamburgers, and tritip. Ruby's mom told stories of how long she had had the HUGE pot she made the posole in. She shed tears when she reminisced on how it was like being pregnant with Ruby herself. And how so many things Ruby was experiencing were just like when she was pregnant with her. Then it was time to round the troops up and go outside, for the baseball toss (full of pink or blue!)... We lined the street. I pulled the camera close, making sure not to miss that special moment when the ball cracked and the powder flew, filling the sky with different colors. Ruby leaned back, pitched the ball, and Preston swung the bat. CRACK. Wait... the color didn't fill the sky... AHHHH! I jumped out of the way just in time to miss the ball landing and cracking on the road in front of me... BLUE, IT WAS BLUE.... The baby was a BOY!!!.... How exciting, the joy we shared during the moments following.. But of course we needed that AH-HAH moment.. that when the ball hit the bat, color flew everywhere!... So we tried again... this time it was a swing and a miss... Now it was Ruby's turn to swing the bat!! BAM! BLUE EVERYWHERE!! What an exciting day it was for everyone! Now I look forward to capturing every moment of this baby!!! This RAINBOW BABY!! The calm after the storm! The beautiful excitement of life... life after death, life after the storm... This beautiful RAINBOW! So just remember 2 things... First things first, there is always a Rainbow after every storm!
Secondly, that Miss Molly's Memories Photography DOES cover events of any kind!

We are all having difficult times right now, some of us might be going to a rough time in school, work or even family affairs. It is really draining, I for one, sometimes wish that it all just go away far from me, however, we cannot continue running from our problems. We should all make an effort to break through our problems, we should not let depression get the best of us. Because just like our author said, "after every storm, there lies a rainbow."
